How to inform in case an error occurred in the software?

In SHOOKA software there is a section you might send us the pop up error messages. By clicking on ”report error” a window opens where you can fill up a form and send it to us so that our application team proceeds to resolve it ASAP. It should be noted that filling up the email address and telephone field is obligatory. In case any kind of problem wasn’t resolved you may contact SHOOKA support team.

Friends and colleagues can’t hear you during meetings.

Make sure your devices such as microphone, speaker and camera are working properly. SHOOKA application team has predicted the test options in the software for you.

At the bottom of the application click on device test button.

  1. For testing microphone click on the voice record button and then click play.
  2. For testing speakers click “play music”.
  3. For testing camera click on the camera tab.

Picture is sent or received slowly or interrupted

Your internet or intranet bandwidth is not sufficient, if your picture is transmitted slowly, go to setting, and adjust your picture to your bandwidth. In the setting tab, click the picture quality, then you can determine the quality in the window that opens and then click Apply button at the bottom of the window.

Visual and audible equipment

Is it possible to record the meeting?

Yes. First go to setting tab, then click Record Meeting button and in the new window choose the Activate option. You can also choose output format. Please note that if microphone sound record check box is not checked your voice won’t be recorded.

How is it possible to play voice and picture through external devices?

Go to setting tab, choose Devices, in opened window you may choose your required devices like microphone, speaker and camera and then click Apply.

How to make sure our visual and audible equipment work properly?

I have problem logging in the application

What is a user account?

A user account includes a username and password that you need to log in the application. Along with the username a portal address will be allocated to you, which you will receive after purchasing the service.

How to get a user account?

How to change the password?

By creating the username, the user will have a password which is changeable and you can proceed with it, this way:

After logging in the application go to setting tab and choose USER option. After that, enter your password and then you can choose your new one and reenter it. Click save. Please note that least characters you can define for your password are 6, and so obviously, you can choose more than 6 characters.

Is it possible to use Bluetooth hands free for conferences?

At this very moment, it is not possible to connect Bluetooth handsfree to the application but you can take advantage of your wired headphones for your conferences and meetings. I can’t download the application

For downloading from apple store service, you need an apple ID which you can purchase from Mobile Stores.

Connection Problem

You don’t have network connection with SHOOKA router?

First open the RUN window and type CMD and click ok. A window like this picture opens where you should type 186.54.10.10 PING (like picture) and Enter. After confirming if you saw these words (like picture) you don’t have network issues, otherwise your connection with our servers has problem.

When making video contact, you face “proxy connection error”.

Probably, video router port (17990) is closed on firewalls or other security systems as “send & receive”. But your company IT team can help you with this problem.

Installing and updating the software

What to do if updating message didn’t pop up automatically?

First run the application/software, go to setting, click the Application/software Version and choose UPDATE to update the application.

Where should I get the application?

You can download the application -compatible to your OS- from www.shooka.com. It should be noted that android, IOS, and windows versions have been designed by SHOOKA programmers, based on users’ demands. Also, our Mac and Linux versions will soon be available for download on website and we are already graceful to your patience.

How to update the application?

Provided that the new version is ready, when you open the application a message pops up and you can update your application by choosing yes.

How to install the application

Choose your language, click next, you can determine the software direction by choosing browse and then click next. Choose Install and at last if you check the “create desktop shortcut” checkbox you will have the software icon on your desktop and then click finish. Congratulation you have installed the software.

The required bandwidth for making a dual user video contact is 384 Kbps and this amount is for a high-quality call with 768 Kbps, HD for each user. Bandwidth for making multi-point calls 2Mbps, HD receiving, 768 Kbps sending, web proxy parameter elimination, packet loss amount less than 10%, Jitter amount less than 20Ms, delay amount on intranet national network less than 30Ms and on internet network less than 300 Ms and users’ IP must have access to 186.54.10.10.
